Avani Hotels in Lesotho will this year mark Her Majesty ‘Masenate Mohato Seeiso’s birthday in style through a beauty pageant entitled 'Khaba joaloka 'Mabasotho' in which Basotho women are expected to showcase their best Seshoeshoe designs in the race for a M10,000 prize money which will be awarded on June 7, 2019.

Avani Lesotho Hotels Marketing Officer, Richard Cole, said on Monday that the event will be centred on culture, focusing specifically on Seshoeshoe traditional dress which Queen 'Masenate Mohato Seeiso is fond of wearing. He reiterated that M10,000 prize money will be awarded to a Mosotho woman who will present a true, modern interpretation of Seshoeshoe, adding that design, movement and pose will be an added advantage.
