Local farmers on study tour in SA
The use of greenhouses in Lesotho is becoming widespread
The excursion which ends on Friday will tour the SA provinces of the Free State and Gauteng.
According to the Mafeteng SADP district climate-smart officer, Lesetla Makoae, this is a multi-faceted endeavor that has been going on for quite some time.
The project he said takes farmers through various rounds, adding that the current tour which is the eighth and ninth is aimed at among others, helping them to commercialise local agriculture.

He said there is an arrangement with their SA counterparts to share their success stories from which the local farmers cab benefit since they believe there is a lot to bring home and implement in order to improve local agricultural projects.
