THE Letšeng Diamond Mine has warned the public about scams that the nation might be facing as a result of the rising rate of unemployment in the country.

This comes after circulating information on various social platforms about job openings at the mine.
According to a statement released by the mine on Monday, a social media account allegedly belonging to one Lintle Matekane posted the vacancies demanding money from the applicants in return for the jobs.

The mine showed that the individual in question is not an employee of the company and has no connection with mine in any way.

It said should there be job openings at the mine, the company will accordingly make the public aware through the local newspapers or even through the mine’s website.
