PRIME Minister Dr Moeketsi Majoro says he is satisfied with the manner with which the government operates in monitoring progress of major projects implemented in the country.

This, he said on Wednesday at a press briefing whose objective was to a present progress report on government’s major projects.
Dr Majoro said although some projects were not completed on stipulated time while others were on hold for various reasons, he is hopeful that they will be completed.
He said most of the rural electrification projects have been completed while some will be finalised by end of the year.

He made examples of projects like the ones in Sephapho, Ha ’Makopela, ’Melikane, Ha Thaabe and Ha Rapokolana among others.
He said the construction of the road from Ha Marakabei to Monontša, which commenced in 2018 was delayed because the contractor was designing and constructing the road at the same time instead of designing the road before the construction process.
