CLERK of the National Assembly, King’s Counsel Lebohang Maema says five new Bills will be presented before the house when it reopens for business on September 10.

This, he said is an indication that there will be a lot of work for the legislators to do when they return to Parliament from the winter break.

Among others, KC Maema said the house will also announce obituaries of late Members of Parliament who died during the winter recess.

“Once a person becomes an MP, it does not matter when they are no longer part of the house, they are still given all the honour of an MP when they have passed on,” he said.

The Speaker of the National Assembly, he said will address the members in his usual welcoming remarks, adding that other announcements will also be made.
