THE Thaba-Tseka District Health Manager (DHM) Dr Rodriguez Mwanawabene says they have at least managed to reach about 85 percent of the district’s health professionals during the first batch of vaccination for COVID 19.

He said those who had not yet been vaccinated were not present at the health centre on Wednesday, although he could not be drawn to explain whether or not they wanted to be vaccinated.

“It is not compulsory for the health professionals to take the vaccine, remember,” he added.
The vaccine called AstraZeneca arrived in Lesotho earlier this month and was distributed to different health clinics in the country, including Thaba-Tseka.
