MASERU – The Ministry of Health on Sunday confirmed eight more cases of Covid-19, bringing the total of recorded cases to 12.

According to the ministry, the patients are aged between 21 and 47 – two of them are from Maseru, four from Mohale’s Hoek, one from Berea and one from Botha-Bothe.

Seven of the confirmed cases had a travel history from South Africa and one from Zimbabwe.

The ministry therefore pleads with the members of public to calm down and be vigilant while maintaining safety protocols to minimise the spread of the virus.

So far the country has conducted 2 137 tests and 2 125 of them were negative, with 12 confirmed cases and two recoveries.
