A TOTAL of 40 COVID-19 recoveries have been registered on Monday according to the latest update issued by the Ministry of Health.

The number places the national cumulative at 568 while no new deaths were recorded with the number still at 31.

Eighty seven new specimens were tested out of an overall of 16 120 tests conducted to date since the rollout of testing.
The update has additionally revealed 16 newly confirmed cases.

Recent regulations have lifted closure of alcohol selling points across the country and sale of which is scheduled to run between Monday and Friday while churches have also resumed operations after they received the green light.  

Several other regulations have been imposed to control the rapid spread of the pandemic among locals.
