POPULAR South African (SA) radio personality, Lerato Mpopo aka DJ Lovers is billed to perform at the Mafeteng gig called Bantu Chillas to be held on October 30.

DJ Lovers is a veteran presenter for Lesedi FM, a South African radio station that broadcasts in Sesotho.  
The much-awaited musical event will be held at the Ramokoatsi Recreational Park from 10am until late.

A group of local deejays also scheduled to perform at the event include Thizozo, Javaz, Tshepza, Chixx and Warrys.
The organisers of the event are the Bantu Football Club fans known as the "Titos" and entrance fee ranges from M100 (general) to M500 (VIP) which will also cater for meals and beverages supplied by partners, Lecholi Butchery.

Jam Session will provide music equipment.
"Tickets are available at the Bantu Football Club offices in Mafeteng and the other branches located in Ha Abia, Khubetsoana and Mazenod in Maseru. It is a fund raising initiative planned to help boost the team’s finances,” says a member of Titos, Khothatso Nkhabu.

For his part, DJ Lovers says: "I hope to see you soon the people of the Kingdom of Lesotho. I miss the warm reception you always give me. I love Lesotho."

When not on radio, DJ Lovers is involved in club and events deejaying. He also produces music. Last weekend he staged at a fun-packed charity event in Klerksdop, SA, where the highly celebrated SA female artist, Makhadzi also performed.
With previous performances in Maseru, Hlotse, Maputsoe and Mahobong to mention but a few, DJ Lovers needs no introduction in the local entertainment circles. His last appearance in the country was in Mokhotlong in May.
He also graced the 2018 Centre of Accounting Studies (CAS) Fresher’s Ball alongside Rhythm City
actor, Mduduzi “Suffocate” Mabaso.
Rhythm City is a South African soapie whose last episode was aired on etv on July 16.
