According to a statement released on Monday by the Ministry of Home Affairs, security clusters and border management bodies under the national emergency command centre have established that over 1 000 Basotho entered the country through porous border lines while others used legitimate border pots such as Maseru, Maputsoe and Van Rooyens Gate among others.

Working hand in hand with health professionals, security clusters and border management cluster the government has assured the nation that these people are being screened against COVID-19 and accordingly quarantined upon their entry into the country.
