MASERU – The matter in which two Maseru men are accused of stealing over M4 million belonging to First National Bank (FNB) Lesotho has been postponed to August 2020.

When the High Court rescheduled the case in October, the defence represented by King’s Counsel Motiea Teele had finished cross examining one of the accomplice witnesses, Monaheng Ntlhabo.

A former FNB employee Lehlohonolo Tsikinyane and Lehlohonolo ’Mote are charged with the theft that allegedly occurred on October 26, 2008 in Maseru.

Tsikinyane and ’Mote were initially charged along with Ntlhabo and his father Sekhonyana together with Lisema Ramokhoabane and Seemane Qhoai.

The Ntlhabo’s have since turned state witnesses while both Ramokhoabane and Qhoai are now deceased.

Both Tsikinyane and ’Mote have pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Advocate Tsebiso Fuma represents the Crown in the matter.
