MASERU – The three men who allegedly broke into the Lithabaneng residence of former Minister of Social Development ’Matebatso Doti are expected to reappear before the Maseru Magistrate’s Court on October 14 for trial.

Bokang Manyamane, 23, of Lithabaneng, Ha Keiso, Thabo Moahloli, 28, and Napo Maliba, 18, both of Masite, Thotaneng appeared before the Maseru Magistrate’s Court today for set down.  The prosecution in the case told the court that police investigations into the matter were currently underway.  It is alleged that the three broke into Mrs Doti’s home on July 26 and threatened to shoot her with a firearm.


The accused are also alleged to have stabbed the MP for Lithabaneng with knives before making away with her property that included hats and caps, jewellery, baking powder, a pump action rifle with four rounds of ammunition and cash to the tune of M4 600.
