THE case in which cash to the value of M4 million was stolen from the First National Bank (FNB) Lesotho in 2008 was unable to proceed on Monday because both the presiding judge and the defence lawyers did not show up in the High Court.

FNB M4 million theft case fails to proceed
The High Court of Lesotho
The accused include Lehlohonolo 'Mote and Lehlohonolo Tsikinyane who is former employee of the bank.
They allegedly stole the money on October 26, 2008.
They were initially charged together with Lisema Ramokhoabane and Seemane Qhoai, but the two have since passed on.
The other accused in the matter included Sekhonyana Ntlhabo and his son Monaheng. But charges against the two have since been withdrawn after they turned state witnesses.

Tsikinyane is represented by King’s Counsel Motiea Teele while Advocate Monaheng Rasekoai appears for Mote.
