IN a bid to allow smooth construction of the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, the Hilton road, which connects the Mpilo Boulevard and Kingsway Road has been closed effective from Saturday midnight.

According to a press release from the Maseru City Council (MCC), the road will remain closed until the construction of the hospital has been completed.

The press statement further shows that the road will only be opened for motorists who will be entering the Metcash Building through the Kingsway Road, appealing to members of the public to use other roads until the construction is finalised.
Prime Minister Dr Moeketsi Majoro led the sod turning ceremony of the China-aided Maseru district hospital earlier in February.
