UPON completion of logistical matters that the Ministry of Public Works and Transport is still working on, local motorists will be expected to return the number plates that they are using on their vehicles, which bear Lesotho’s code of arms.

This was announced by the Minister of Public Works and Transport, Tšoeu Mokeretla during a press conference that was held in Ha Foso, Berea on Monday.

He said when they return the number plates with the code arms, the motorists are expected to get new ones bearing the Basotho hat (Mokorotlo).

Mr Mokeretla said the exercise is being conducted after the ministry realised that the code of arms is only utilised on matters related to His Majesty the King and the Royal House.
