MASERU - Members of Parliament on Monday adopted some amendments made by the Senate in respect of the National Reforms Authority Bill, 2019.

Senators who consist of 22 principal chiefs and other prominent members of the society made a total of 14 amendments to the initial National Reforms Authority Bill, 2019 that was proposed by the National Assembly.
However, the National Assembly rejected two of those amendments from the Senate, arguing that some of them had already been catered for in the Bill and that there was no need to make such amendments.
This, following the Southern African Development Community (SADC) recommendations that the country should make reforms on parliament, judiciary, public service, media, economy, constitution and security.
