MASERU - Investigations into the death of a three-year old pupil from a popular local preschool who died under mysterious circumstances at school are still continuing, police have reported.

Supt Mpiti Mopeli said the doctor’s report has revealed that the deceased boy had injuries, showing signs of being assaulted.
“The report also shows that the child had internal bleeding to the brain,” Supt Mopeli told Metro in an exclusive interview on Monday.
He said investigations show that the child’s mother was told that her son had fallen down from a table and sustained head injuries.

“The child was rushed to hospital where he later died from the injuries,” he said.
Nobody has been arrested in connection with the unexplained death and police investigations continue, he further noted.
Meanwhile, the child was laid to rest in Mangopeng, Roma on the outskirts of the capital Maseru.
