THE Minister of Justice and Law has called on the ministry’s employees to speed-up the national reforms processes, as they already lag behind. Advocate Lekhetho Rakuoane made these remarks on Monday when welcoming the new Lesotho Correctional Services (LCS) Commissioner and the new Attorney General (AG).

Rakuoane urges all to speed up reforms process

He said the reforms committees have started working on Constitutional Reforms, therefore urging the ministry’s various departments to make their own submissions soon.
The process he said should be given the attention and priority it deserves in order to ensure that they create the Lesotho they want as well as the development of the country.
Speaking at the same event, the ministry’s Principal Secretary Lebeko Sello said they still face challenges such as housing all departments under one roof for efficiency and effectiveness.

He said staff housing and transport in the district remain major challenges that need to be addressed urgently.
