The president of the Republic of South Africa  Cyril Ramaphosa will arrive in Lesotho on Thursday on a one-day visit to present a progress report on the implementation of the national reforms to His Majesty King Letsie III.

According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations Lesego Makgothi, Ramaphosa will also pay a courtesy call on the King after his election as the new South African president. Makgothi said during Ramaphosa’s visit, a date on which the multi sectoral dialogue plenary II regarding the national reforms will also be decided upon.

Ramaphosa's visit was preceded by that of the South African Deputy Chief Justice Dikgang Moseneke and his team who arrived in Lesotho yesterday. Justice Moseneke was appointed by Ramaphosa to play on his behalf the role of the SADC Facilitator in Lesotho.
