Maseru - In an effort to fulfil the Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) mandate of preventing, detecting and investigating crime, 13 police musical groups from 10 districts of the country will on Sunday hold a concert to be staged at Sefika Hall, in Maseru. This, the LMPS Public Relations Officer Superintendent Mpiti Mopeli revealed in an interview, adding that the concert will be free of charge for the public, but he appealed to the public to bring along sanitary towels as donations. According to him, they have noticed a great challenge facing women and girls living in the mountainous parts of the country where there is limited access to sanitary pads, adding that they want to come to their rescue by donating pads. The LMPS are appealed to the public to support this initiative. The LMPS is the national police force of the Kingdom of Lesotho entrusted to maintain peace and stability in the country as well as prevent, detect and investigate crime. Lena
