MASERU - The Lesotho U-17 side Bahlabani went down 2-0 against Bidvest Wits U-19 team in an international friendly match played in Gauteng, last Friday.

The Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) communications officer, Mikia Kalati said the game was part of Bahlabani’s preparations for the regional Council of Southern Africa Football Association (COSAFA) Cup to be played in Malawi from October 11 - 20.

Bahlabani have been paired against defending Champions Angola, Comoros and Mozambique. Although Bahlabani are scheduled to open the COSAFA Cup account against Comoros on Friday, Kalati had no idea as to when the team would leave for Malawi. Bahlabani have been in camp for a couple of weeks under the tutelage of Coach Halemakale Mahlaha.

Mahlaha announced his final 19 players last week after the first 29 were called to camp earlier.
