MASERU - Bokamoso North (BKMN) came from behind last weekend in the 2018 Play-off’s best-of-five matches to level the score 2-2 against league champions, the National University of Lesotho (NUL), in the fourth game. The final game of the series is scheduled for Saturday. The teams will play the decider of the best of five matches after BKMN won the first and fourth games of the series and NUL won the second and third game. On Sunday, BKMN won the first three quarters and NUL won the last one.

This was the second weekend of games played at the Lehakoe Cultural Centre basketball courts. The winner on Saturday’s game will walk away with the championship trophy, gold medals and the prize money to be announced on the day. In the first, second, and third quarters, BKMN won 14-9, 10-8, and 13-9. However, in the fourth quarter NUL showed lots of confidence, putting pressure on BKMN and won the quarter with 18-11. NUL nearly won the championship in the last quarter as the match ended with BKMN winning 48-44.

NUL lost ground when Ntsebo ‘Nyama got injuried on Saturday and she had to watch the match from the stands on Sunday.
