THE initial deadline that was set by the Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) for all the 16 Premier League teams to submit lists of their players who have tested for COVID-19 has been overtaken by the events and is therefore no longer applicable.

LeFA Secretary General Mokhosi Mohapi said the last week suspension of contact sports by Prime Minister, Dr Moeketsi Majoro means that the teams only have to stop competing until further notice.
For his part, the Premier League Management Committee (PLMC) Spokesperson, Qamako Mahao said only FC Likhopo have not submitted the required list, citing lack of capacity for testing in some health centres as one of the reason for their non-compliance.
