MASERU –Likuena shall on Sunday have to do without the services of Rethabile Selonyane who failed a late fitness test after sustaining an injury that ruled him out of the Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) return leg qualifier against South Africa.

Likuena left for SA earlier today for the return leg that will be played in Dobsonville Stadium in Johannesburg. The communications officer of the Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) Mikia Kalati, said Selonyane had to be left behind despite the fact that no replacement had been arranged due to time constraints.

Kalati was, however, quick to add that there were many other players eligible to replace Selonyane in the current squad. He mentioned the likes of Neo Mokhachane who plays in the same position as the injured Linare player. Likuena walloped their only neighbours 3-2 last week at Setsoto Stadium in the first leg of the campaign. They now need at least a draw to advance to the next round of the competition.
