BEREA - Half marathon specialist Jobo Khatoane was unstoppable on Saturday when he won the 21.1km Rakabaele Half Marathon in Berea, clocking in 1:07.

The race began in Ty and proceeded to Ha Rakabaele where it ended with a bang.

The event was organised by the Berea-Tourism Establishment Forum (B-TEF) in partnership with the Berea Athletics Association (BAA) in honor of the legendary athlete, Gabasheane Vincent Rakabaele.
It also included a 5km development race, which targeted athletes under the age of 16.

In a post-race interview, Khatoane of Mokhotlong described the course he ran as highly competitive, saying it had too many hills adding that the participants also came well prepared.

He said his next plan of action is to defend his title in the Bocheletsane Marathon next month.
