FOUR high schools and four primary schools in Leribe are undergoing training in rugby facilitated by the Lesotho Rugby Academy.

This is the seventh week the young teams are being introduced to the intricacies of the sport.

The primary schools involved in the training scheduled for 10 weeks include St Saviours, Methodist, Linareng and Maryland, while the high schools comprise Molapo, Hlotse, Leribe and Maryland.

Mahanetsa said a minor competition was held last weekend to evaluate the progress of the players. The programme he said will soon extend to other schools in the district.
