MASERU – President of LeFA KC Salemane Phafane has appealed to Basotho to join hands in prayer for Likuena ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers away, against the Squirrels of Benin.

KC Phafane made the call during a media briefing held at the Bambatha Tšita Sports Arena this week.

He made this appeal in the wake of the deadly coronavirus outbreak that is spreading throughout the world.
He said the nation should pray for the national team since Likuena will be travelling a long journey to the West African country.
“I appeal to the whole nation to pray for Likuena as the players are their sons, brothers and relatives,” he said.
He said necessary arrangements have been made for the team to leave and for the game on March 25.
