LIOLI FC’s board of directors is content with the team’s new head coach Thomas Tshabalala who recently joined the TY-based side from Lifofane FC.

In a statement released last week, Tse-Nala said about Tshabalala: “The board of directors of Lioli FC is happy to announce the appointment of Ntshieng Thomas Tshabalala as the new head coach, taking over from Morena Ramoreboli.

“Tshabalala is contracted for a period of one football season -2020/2021.”

In an interview, Lioli’s President Lebohang Thatanyana told Metro that he is personally more than happy with the new foreign coach.

Like his predecessor Ramoreboli, Tshabalala, 57, is also a South Africa citizen, he hails from Bloemfontein.

“We had targeted a foreign coach, so I am satisfied that we managed to get one. We are on a journey to fulfill all our promises to the supporters,” he said.

Tshabalala holds a CAF B license and brings a wealth of coaching experience to the team.

According to Thotanyana, Tshabalala has been mandated by the board to build a competitive squad that will be maintained in the top four of the Premier League and win at least one major cup in the 2020/2021 season.
