MEHALALITOE immensely enjoyed their opening match at the Hollywoodbets Council of Southern Africa Football Association (COSAFA) Women's Championship on Thursday when they demolished Eswatini 3-0 at the Nelson Mandela Bay stadium in South Africa.

Mehalalitoe captain, Boitumelo ''Queen'' Rabale had a field as she scored all Lesotho’s three goals against the Swazis.

Rabale plays her professional football for South African club, Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies.
She was also one of the goal-scorers of the Wednesday game when Sundowns destroyed Richmond United 5-0.

The goals have increased the striker’s tally to 13 in 15 games for the Hollywoodbets Super League defending champions.
Lesotho are in Group B along with eSwatini, Namibia and Zambia.

The latter recently returned from the CAF qualifiers and are one of the favourites to win the regional title.

Group A consists of the hosts, South Africa, Angola, Mauritius and Mozambique while Group C is made up of Botswana, Malawi, Tanzania and Comoros.
The invited guests, Tanzania are the defending champions of COSAFA Championship which they won in last year's edition of the regional tournament.
