MINISTER of Gender and Youth, Sports and Recreation, Likeleli Tampane has suggested that Team Lesotho be placed under a 14-day quarantine period upon their arrival from Tokyo, Japan where they represented Lesotho at the 2020 Olympic Games, which ended with a glittering closing ceremony on Sunday.

The team will be welcomed by the minister at the Moshoeshoe I International Airport.
It was not immediately clear if the costs for quarantine will be incurred by the ministry or the Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC).
No one from the LNOC was immediately available to comment on the issue.
