Makoanyane XI head coach Bob Mafoso
According to Mafoso, the team better known as Makoanyane XI played several friendly matches most of which it won.
He said the side was made up of experienced players such as Jessy Matsie, Tšeliso Botsane and Tuntu Moroahae just to mention a few.
“We selected skilled players who are active at their respective teams and some of them have also competed in this tournament before,” he said.

Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) media officer Mikea Kalati said the team camped for a few days in South Africa before departing for Zambia on Tuesday.
Kalati said the side played two friendly matches against two South African Multi-Choice teams and won one game before losing the second one.
This will be the second time that Makoanyane XI compete under the mentorship of Mafoso at the tournament.
