Maseru ‑ The leader of All Basotho Convention (ABC) and the Prime Minister of Lesotho, Dr. Thomas Thabane has called for tolerance and unity among party members. This he said when addressing members of the party during a rally that was held at Mapoteng in the 'Makhoroana Constituency on Sunday. He is concerned with the ongoing infighting among ABC members, adding that it hurts him to see that happening. He also raised concerns about some party members who address party issues on radio instead of addressing them at constituency level, branches of the party or headquarters, but not through the media. Dr. Thabane pointed out that the executive committee of the party has taken an initiative to hold talks with some of the party members who were dissatisfied with some of the issues. He said confusion among party members affects the foundation of the government and the relations between the political parties that form the coalition government. He thus urged ABC members to introspect and do what is best for the party. Dr. Thabane further acknowledged the members of the party for their support during his struggles as a leader and while he was in exile. He indicated that he is aware that they are not satisfied about service delivery from the current government. He called upon leaders to introspect and work towards achieving their mandate as leaders. Meanwhile, the programme of the rally was cut short following confrontation between some members of one of the Famo groups (Terene) after they had been granted the platform to make a speech at the rally. ABC, commonly known as 'Kobo-Tata ea Basotho', is a breakaway party from the then ruling Lesotho Congress for Democracy (LCD). It was formed by Dr. Thabane in 2006. It is currently part of the four-party coalition government that comprise the ABC, Basotho National Party (BNP), Reformed Congress of Lesotho (RCL) and Alliance of Democrats (AD). This 4x4 coalition was formed after the June 2017 general election. Lena
