Fuel price goes up
According to the Petroleum Fund Executive Secretary, Thato Mohasoa, the pump price of diesel50 has also increased by 65 lisente per litre.
The price of illuminating paraffin increased by 40 lisente, he also showed.
Based on these adjustments, the Petroleum Fund has appealed to retailers to charge proper prices as it is illegal to charge prices that are different from the gazetted ones.
In this update Mr Mohasoa also indicated that the Road Maintenance levy for both petrol and diesel has also been increased by 10 lisente per litre to 40 and 50 lisente per litre respectively.
