Covid-19 related deaths mounting
Ministry of Health's director general of health services Dr 'Nyane Letsie
According to the director general of health services in the Ministry of Health Dr ’Nyane Letsie, by Friday last week, a total of 311 cases had been confirmed after 55 newly recorded entries, bringing a total of 6 861 tested specimens.
There have been 21 recoveries which changed the national cumulative to 69, Letsie also showed.

Prime Minister Dr Moeketsi Majoro
Due to the steady rise in the number of confirmed cases, Prime Minister Dr Moeketsi Majoro recently directed cabinet ministers to consult communities on the strategies that could be rolled out to control the pandemic.
Such consultations were conducted last week and the opinion gathered is expected to inform the way forward.
