A member of the Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) who was arrested in connection with the theft of 12 sheep in Khubetsoana and Ha Tsolo was on Thursday this week released on M500 bail by the Maseru Magistrate’s Court.

Private Masilo Mokotjo, 36, was apprehended along with his two compatriots on December 26, 2022, but did not appear in court with them on January 17 pending instructions from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Mokotjo is expected back in court on January 31 when he will be answering stock theft charges before Magistrate Thamae. - LeNA
