Although details of his discharge remain sketchy, Manyokole has confirmed receiving his dismissal letter from the office of Prime Minister Sam Matekane.
Manyokole who has served as a PS in several ministries was appointed to the position during the past coalition government led by former Prime Minister Motsoahae Thabane.
Among others, he also served as PS of the Ministry of Health.
Another PS appointed by the Thabane administration who received marching orders recently is Nonkululeko Zaly.
She was the PS in the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Business Development, and Tourism.

Asked to comment on the sacking of the two officials, the PM’s Press Attaché, Thapelo Mabote referred the media to the Government Secretary, Lerotholi Pheko.
Before referring the media back to Mabote, Pheko claimed ignorance of the two dismissals. - LeNA
