MASERU - Leader of the Reformed Congress of Lesotho (RCL) Keketso Rants’o has been suspended from both the party and its national executive committee.

A recent meeting of the party’s NEC reached the decision to suspend Mrs Rants’o until the next elective conference decides her future. A letter addressed to the leader dated on August 14 states that she (Rants’o) had for a while been making decisions in respect of the party without consulting the NEC. The letter was signed by the party’s new secretary general, Rets’elisitsoe Lesane. Deputy leader Dr Motloheloa Phooko has been mandated to hold the fort until Mrs Rants’o’s fate has been determined.
