FORMER Alliance of Democrats (AD) leader, Monyane Moleleki, has denied rumours that he is planning to leave his party for the government's leading party, the Revolution for Prosperity (RFP).

Speaking firmly to the press last week in Maseru, the former Deputy Prime Minister explained that he remains a committed member of the AD and has no intention of defecting.

"I am Monyane Moleleki from Machache, and I am not crazy," he stated, dismissing the idea that he would abandon his party.

He further explained that his position as a member of the National Assembly through the proportional representation (PR) seat allocation system legally binds him to his party.

"As a PR member, crossing over to another party is not permissible," he said, highlighting a significant barrier to any potential party switch.- LeNA
