Metropolitan MD Mamello Phomane pens the pact
The five include Lijabatho, Liphakoe, Sefothafotha, Mazenod-Swallows and Lifofane. The insurance company will also get the branding rights on the teams’ gear and at their respective matches.
One of the conditions of the deal is that with the money provided, the teams will purchase Metropolitan-branded kits, which will also include a minimum of 100 replicas to raise more funds for the teams.

Basutoland Ink has also joined the partnership as suppliers and will provide the teams with away jerseys free of charge. The association will run for the duration of the current season, with the hope of being extended beyond the stipulated time frame.
The managing director of Metropolitan Lesotho, Mamello Phomane expressed her pleasure at the chance they were given to offer financial aid to the teams, adding that was part of giving back to the community they served.
