Big twist in title race as Man City slip up

The Premier League title race remains excitingly close, with Arsenal sitting five points clear at the top with three fixtures remaining, but Manchester City having one match in hand.

The title is now in Arsenal’s hands – if they win all of their remaining three matches, they would be crowned champions. But a single slip-up would let Man City back in.

Pep Guardiola’s side could close the gap to two points if they beat Brentford at the Etihad Stadium this Saturday, the day before Arsenal visit West Ham United in a London derby.
Manchester City, used to being the side chasing points in the final weeks, remain the most experienced “closer” in the division, with a deep squad and a history of winning tight title races. However, any slip against Brentford or Palace could end their hopes even if Arsenal falter later.

For now, the race leans toward Emirates‑based celebrations unless City summon a perfect end‑run and Arsenal wobble under the pressure of a first Premier League title in more than two decades.
