According to the National Emergency Command Centre (NECC), the regulations provide that all people must be confined at their respective homes during the lockdown period.
The regulations also expect everybody to wear a face mask whenever they leave their places of abode.

Eighteen of the suspects were slapped with a two-month jail term or pay a fine of between M2 000 and M3 000 after the court found them guilty as charged.
The other two were each granted a M1 000 bail and are expected back before court on June 10.
