DCEO boss still out in the cold
After his suspension by the Minister of Law, he had approached the High Court seeking for a review and an order to set aside his suspension.
He had also challenged the decision to establish a tribunal that would investigate his fitness to hold office.
The High Court dismissed his application and he consequently appealed the decision.
In his arguments before the Court of Appeal, Manyokole’s lawyer, Attorney Tekane Maqaqachane had shown that the High Court misdirected itself in deciding over the application, saying his client was unfairly treated.
He had submitted that the minister's decision was prejudicial adding that his right to participate was violated.
He had added that his client’s dignity and reputation were also compromised.
