MASERU - The case in which five senior police officers who are charged together with the former Minister of Defence Tšeliso Mokhosi for the murder of Police Constable Mokalekale Khetheng was once again postponed on Monday after lawyers involved in the matter failed to show up in court again.

Further delays in Khetheng murder trial
Former police boss Molahlehi Letsoepa
The case was postponed last Friday to Monday because both KC Zwelakhe Mda and Karabo Mohau who represent some of the accused reported ill. The matter which continues before Justice Charles Hungwe has consequently been rescheduled to August 3.
The accused police officers include Senior Superintendent Thabo Tšukulu, Senior Inspector Mabitle Matona, Inspector Mothibeli Mofolo, Sub-Inspector Haleokoe Taasoane and Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Tšeliso Moerane.

They are charged along with the former police commissioner Molahlehi Letsoepa, who remains at large. The accused are alleged to have murdered PC Khetheng on March 26, 2016 in Ha Mokhalinyane, Maseru.
