Over years, Disaster Management Authority (DMA) prepares for disasters and emergencies that may occur during winter season. Their duty is to ensure that they encounter any challenges that may happen as well as rescuing the lives that may be in danger.
Their preparedness plan includes ensuring that there is enough salt to melt snow in order to make sure that the roads are accessible for all. Throughout the process they involve all the stakeholders such as police and District Administrators (DA) as they work with them when dealing with some emergencies.
