According to police spokesperson Superintendent Mpiti Mopeli, the alleged crime has been taking place since January right under the nose of the children’s guardians.

“The girls live with their grandparents and not their parents, the suspects paid them between M50 and M100 to sleep with them,” Supt Mopeli told a press briefing on Monday morning.
