Secker’s three co-accused who are civilians are believed to have masqueraded as police officers to mount the roadblock and commit the crime.
Police investigations that followed led to the subsequent arrest of Secker who was already on interdiction after he had been implicated in the 2017 murder of a Mohale’s Hoek man who was gunned down at his home.
