Sesotho rapper Ntate Stunna aka Mega Hertz
“I'll be dropping two music videos as “Ke Thata” hits a million views,” the musician who raps in Sesotho announces.
With several adored songs under his belt, the likes of “Kea “Patlotsa, Ntate Stunna has fast enjoyed a huge following in Lesotho and the neighbouring South Africa as well as Botswana, owing to his unique approach to hip-hop music.
The video that was largely enjoyed by the international community received more than one million views due to the artiste’s raw and unique style in music.
What sets him apart from other musicians is his distinctive talent inspired by an unquenchable affection for the Sesotho fashion and language.
The musicians also talks about how he no longer goes to church because people in church see hip hop music as part of an anti-Christ movement.
“But I still pray God because without him, I am nothing,” he also says.
He was in the past year featured in one of SABC’s favourite evening soapies, Rhythm City airing on eTV.
Ntate Stunna has caught the attention of mainstream artistes and shared the stage with top South African artistes including DJ Tira, NaakMusiq, Major Leagues and Riky Rick among others.
About the latest number that has put him on the spotlight - “Ke Thata”, the talented rapper says what makes it unique is the sound used to produce it.

He describes it as having a lot of Sesotho (famo) feel in it, adding that famo songs are all about self-praise.
“In my opinion, what makes a good rap artiste is creativity, knowing how to articulate one’s own craft,” he says.
Originally from Mokhotlong, Ntate Stunna who now lives in Maseru began his music career in 2014 with a single titled “From Khaya to Jozi”.
He has as well been featured in other local hit songs such as "Khotho" produced by Juvenile.
His popularity grew in 2016 after the release of his track “Lineo Mathaba”.
Ntate Stunna is also known for his track “Mookho” which in 2016 became one of the hottest numbers in Maseru.
