DRAW specialists Golden Arrows welcome Cape Town City to the Princess Magogo Stadium on Sunday afternoon, with both teams looking to return to winning ways in the DStv Premiership.

Abafana Bes'thende registered their 10th draw of the season when their clash at Orlando Pirates finished goalless on Wednesday. It was also the fourth game in a row that they had only picked up one point.

Arrows head coach Lehlohonolo Seema was heartened by the fighting spirit his side displayed against the Buccaneers and said it was something to build on for the visit of City.

"The character these guys are showing, that's what is encouraging us to go on (to) the weekend's game," Seema said. "I'm happy with the performance of today from the guys."

The Citizens also played out to a 0-0 draw against Kaizer Chiefs in midweek, which saw them remain one point and one position ahead of the 10th-placed KZN outfit.

City have only lost one of their last eight games and head coach Eric Tinkler says that regaining some momentum will be vital to them tackling the final four months of the campaign.

"There's certain positives that we can take from the performance but we would've loved to have collected three points, we take one and now we move on and start prepping for the game against Golden Arrows," Tinkler said.

"Trying to get that momentum again is going to be the key factor for us and with these games we can only get better and stronger."

PLAYERS TO WATCH: GOLDEN ARROWS

Pule Mmodi: The 28-year-old midfielder was Arrows' most lively player against Pirates at Orlando Stadium. He failed to take his chance from a counter-attack in the second half before presenting Sbonelo Cele with a late opportunity to win it for the visitors late on.

Nduduzo Sibiya: The 26-year-old attacker came closest to breaking the deadlock for Abafana Bes'thende on Wednesday when his free-kick from just outside the area on the left clipped the wrong side of the right post. He could play a key role from set-pieces against the Citizens this weekend.

PLAYERS TO WATCH: CAPE TOWN CITY

Khanyisa Mayo: The 23-year-old forward found himself on the bench in midweek after scoring in the 2-1 defeat to Royal AM in the Nedbank Cup last weekend. He was a handful for the Chiefs defence after being introduced in the second half and almost set up Taahir Goedeman late on with a delightful threaded pass.

Mogamat May: The new signing from Hannover Park made his debut for the Citizens against Amakhosi and had a couple of opportunities to get off the mark, but didn't trouble the goalkeeper in the end. Tinkler will be encouraged by the 23-year-old forward's first-ever showing in the top flight though.
