Our time will come - LCS coach
LCS FC head coach Shalane Lehohla
Following LCS’ 1-1 draw against Lioli last week, Lehohla told Metro in a post-match interview that he is not under any pressure and has no reason to subject his players to such pressure.
“I do not put my players under any pressure. I am too young for pressure. Life is a process. We have to be patient with each other. Our time will come, if you can see, things are not that bad for us.
“We did not expect a draw but this is what transpired.
“I am not satisfied with the results but I am still building the team. Lioli are strong in the midfield and we wanted to stop them from playing in the midfield and stop their ball from reaching their striker. But after realising that, they still managed to pass him the ball and we continued to fail to disrupt their play in the middle. We decided to pull out Sepiriti Malefane and introduced Thetso Posholi and James Mothojela,” Lehohla said.
In the hotly contested match, Tse Nala broke the ice with a header by Khethisa Masenyetse in the first half.
Lioli were more dominant in the midfield through Tšele Rankhasa and in the left wing where Tumelo Makha made killer passes.

LCS also managed to reach their opponents’ goals posts several times through Thabo Seakhoa and Thabang ’Malane on the right wing in the first half.
LCS came back more defensive in the second half while Lioli piled pressure and penetrated the prison warders’ defense. They managed to score a header through their foreign striker Swirthbeth Kum, with assistance from Potlaki Nkoebele in the 59th minute.
Masheshena managed to hold the rampant Lioli to a one all draw until referee Retšelisitsoe Molise blew the last whistle.
LCS have been under the guidance of Shalane Lehohla since 2020 when former head coach Mpitsa Marai left the club to join the Quthing-based side Liphakoe.
LCS are currently sixth on the log with 18 points from 10 matches, after winning five matches, drawing three times and losing twice.
