AS part of celebrating their 30th anniversary, Red Skins Volleyball club donated sanitary towels and 30 pairs of shoes to the most vulnerable school boys and girls at the Mabote LEC Primary School in Maseru.

The donation was handed over to the school on Sunday.

The team coach, Tšepo Raletooane said they chose to donate the needed items as a way of giving back to the community that has been supporting them in the past 30 years.

The items, he said were bought by members of the teams.

“We have a list of local schools that are going to benefit from the celebration, but we decided to start with Mabote LEC after realising that it has some of the most destitute learners,” Raletooane also said.

He said this is the first time the team makes that kind of donation, adding that they began their celebration a few months ago through blood donation campaigns.

“We are yet to make a similar donation at a particular high school in Maseru as continuation of our celebration.”
